While it is off grid, the place is well appointed and in a beautiful setting. Great for hiking/exploring the Cascades. I recommend bringing all your own supplies and enjoying some peace and quiet in the woods.

The cabin is great, others have described its attributes accurately and we enjoyed our stay. There are some oddities that come with it though. The stairs from the loft with the second bedroom ends in the bathroom. There is no way to lock a door to prevent someone from entering the bathroom that way. Depending on your comfort level with your travel partners this may result in an awkward encounter. There is also a significant step up to the toilet in the bathroom (there is a two step stair at the one end of the platform with the toilet and tub). The step from the platform into the bathtub is also a big one. Again, this didn’t impact us, but if you have mobility issues or vertigo or general clumsiness in the bathroom, caution is needed and may be a factor you need to account for prior to renting here. Both of these factors didn’t impact our family, but I can see the potential for others. It seems there is a standing boil water advisory from the HOA, although it passes state requirements.

We loved our stay here. The proximity to North Cascades could not be beat. We loved watching the birds and the massage chair turned out to be an excellent touch enjoyed by everyone in our family. Kitchen was well stocked!

This pace was great! We really felt surrounded by nature, which you’re probably looking for if this place is on your list. It’s about as close to the park as you can stay without camping inside the park.

Sarah's property was very beautiful and spacious and had lots to offer. Prior to our arrival she was very accommodating and helpful. Always very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend staying at this home.
